Puyallup Fair!!

We all went to the Puyallup Fair last week and, of course, how can kids not enjoy themselves where there are lots of animals, corn dogs and french fries!!!

Gabriella's Preschool Orientation

Last night I went to Gabriella's Preschool orientation at Mt. View Co-op and I can honestly say that I'm SO SO SOOOOOOO excited for Gabby to be going to this preschool!!! The mom's in her class are AWESOME to say the least!! They were SO nice, SO supportive and SO welcoming...I cannot thank God enough that Gabby got into this preschool. I had a chance to talk to her teacher Mrs. Eakin and I absolutely LOVE her and more importantly I think Gabriella will love her too!! They already asked me to be on the board as Secretary!!! Yikes!!! We'll see...:)

I've never been more excited for Gabriella and also so sad to know my "baby" girl will be going to school here in a few weeks. What a wonderful mix of emotions. I also feel relieved to know that she will be in good hands at this school. I have NO worries what-so-ever.

On Monday we have "Meet the Teacher" day so Gabby and I will go and meet with Mrs. Eakin one-on-one. Gabs already cant wait!!! She will pick out her cubby and decorate it all up for when school starts. I'll be bringing my camera...you know it....:)

Camel riding!!!

Our zoo had Camel rides for the summer. Gabby wasn't too sure on riding one by herself so she went with her friend Ellie. I couldn't believe she did it...I was so proud of her!!! When we got off she wanted to go on it again so the camel fear was gone....ha ha!!! It was cute for the kids to have this available to them. I know I wouldn't have enough nerve to ride a camel....:)

Last Summer Dance Class

I cant believe the summer is almost over!! Gabby took ballet, tap and gymnastics the whole summer and LOVED it!! She is the first one in the room and the last one to leave every week! She was fortunate to have some of her friends in her class too....Morgan, Piper and Ava all took the dance class with her and we all had so much fun going out to lunch and watching them dance together!!

Gabby still takes dance now in the fall with Ava....she didn't want to leave so we enrolled her in the fall. There will be a recital at the end of the fall session so I cant wait!!! You know I'll be the crying mom in the room....:)

Anyways...here is a pic of the girls the last day of dance (for the summer.) Ava is not in the picture but she was there too!!

The football season is upon us!! I love it!!!!

My trip back home to Pittsburgh

We all took a trip to Pittsburgh at the end of August and, as always, I had an absolutely wonderful and incredibly FUN time!! I just wish I had enough time to see everyone I wanted to see but that never seems to happen. I did SO much within the 6 days we were there so there is no way to document and show every little thing we did...but my pics below will give you some highlights of our trip. I wish PGH was closer because I would go home a lot more. Every time I go I feel like I'm picking up where I left off. It's like I never left. It'll always be "home" to me.

It was great to spend time with my friends and I already cant wait to go home to see them again (and touch base with the ones I didn't get to see.)

These are some pics of my girls night out with some long time freinds!! We met up at the Cheesecake factory at the Southside Works and had such a great time!! Our waiter was a little goofy ("E" I'll NEVER forget what he did with your drink!!) The night went too fast but it was so nice to catch up!!! Dee...you are coming next time!!! We missed you!!!

I wish you could see this. There are 2 of these underwater tunnels. One is for polar bears and one is for sharks. You literally see them above your head. It's awesome and the kids went crazy over it!!!
