The Wiggles Concert

I know the Wiggles is a kiddie group but honestly I love there concerts as much as my kids do!! Ok so we obviously took Gabs and Dante to see the Wiggles and we were 8th ROW FROM THE STAGE!! It was amazing!! We were so close and Gabby was in awe the whole time!! It was fun to watch Dante at his first concert too. He was dancing and clapping and having a grand-ole time!!

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th this year!!! Bob's birthday was on July 1st so the weekend was about him too!! On Friday morning we went to our friends the McDonald's house because they were hosting a 4th of July party for all the kids!! It was a wonderful time!! Friday night we had our good friends Jackie, Cory and Conner over for dinner.

Saturday we went to a local 4th of July fair on the waterfront in the morning! We had fun eating corn dogs, french fries and fresh squeezed lemonade....Yuuuuuummmmm!!! Sat night we just hung out at home and celebrated Bob's birthday with a great dinner!! It was SO nice to be home after just getting back from vacation!!

On Sunday we had a picnic on the waterfront and watched Gabby chase the birds (and Dante chasing Gabs!!) Then we had the McDonald's over for dinner that night. It's always fun to watch Gabs and Ellie play with each other. They are such good friends.

It was a busy weekend but a FUN weekend!!! More summer fun to come!!!!

Vacation!! Yeah baby!!!

Ok so these pics doesn't even come close to all the pics I took, but I did the best I could to share some of our best moments with you!! We went to San Diego for a week and drove to Disneyland one day. I have to say the beach and Disney were, by far, the most exciting to watch Gabs and Dante experience. I'll explain more with the pictures.

The next day we drove to Disneyland and it was beyond fantastic!! I booked reservations for the Princess lunch at Ariel's Grotto for Gabby. Honestly, from the moment we entered the restaurant I've NEVER seen Gabby so starstruck!! We ate a wonderful lunch and Gabby (and Dante) got to personally meet all the Princesses...Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, Aurora and Belle. She was SO EXCITED. The look on her face was priceless and I wish I could share more pics of this because I actually teared up when I saw Gabriella act the way she did. It was like we couldn't give her a better gift. I would do this 100 times a year to see her face like that again. She didn't stop talking about it the rest of the vacation!!

Anyone who has a little girl HAS to go to this. You will not regret it!!

The next day we went to the beach. The kids LOVED it thank God!! Last year Dante was too young to remember and Gabs HATED everything about the beach. I was so happy when she ran up to the ocean and kept going in and out of the water, she would chase the seagulls all over the sand (barefoot and all!) and Dante was content just playing in the sand. He wasn't too sure of the "big water"....:) Absolute priceless moments.

Honestly, I wish I could share more that we did but it would take up pages of my blog. Our vacation was beyond wonderful. What is even more wonderful is seeing Gabriella and Dante enjoying each other and also realizing that Gabs is at the age to where she really enjoys and remembers everything now. Children are such miracles. I'm so blessed.

Catching up....

Ok so we just got back from a FABULOUS vacation to San Diego (pics to come) and so I've slacked on updating this do to the fact that it took weeks to prepare and pack for vacation. I'm not kidding you either. Anyway, in the last couple weeks Gabby went to her last parent-tot class (I'm SO sad) and she went to her first independent dance class. Every Tuesday I drop her off for an hour to Mrs Megan's dance class (we LOVE her!) and she does tap, ballet and gymnastics. It's the cutest thing EVER to watch these kids!! My pics turned out crappy but I just bought a new camera so I will re-post the new pics next week!!
