Gabriella has been LOVING the snow and I'm so happy she gets to enjoy it too.  I grew up with LOTS of snow in Pittsburgh so to see how much she loves it brings back a lot of memories.  Dante is not too sure about it yet...he's so cute.  

Holiday With Friends

I just wanted to post some pics from last Saturday when we went to our friend Dija's house for a holiday party.  We all had such a good time!!  The kids all loved playing with each other and we had a blast just hanging out and chatting with our good friends.  

Gabby's masterpiece!!

Gabby and I built this gingerbread house the other day and she is SO PROUD of it!!  Everyday I hear, "look at what I did mom!"  She just had so much fun decorating it and eating the icing...of course.  I'm really proud of her.  She is WAY more creative than her mommy that's for sure.  I already cant wait to do another one with her next year!!!

Ok so we've decided to get serious about Gabriella going to the potty.  She is doing so well with it...I'm so proud of her.  She will kill me one day for posting this but it's a classic potty pic...:)

 

Decorating for Santa!!

I'm having so much fun this Christmas with Gabriella!  You can tell she really loves this time of year and everyday she asks to "see Santa at the North Pole!" Gabby already received 2 letters from Santa and one from Rudolph!!  Dante got a letter from Santa too!!  Gabby had so much fun decorating her tree and our tree this year.  When we were decorating our tree we had round bulbs and long bulbs to hang.  She refused to touch a round bulb....she wouldn't go near them.  Only the long ones.  So cute.   Here she is in action...

'Tis the season!!!

Today is "black Friday" and instead of doing what the rest of the world is doing today (shopping!) we go and cut our Christmas tree!!  We go to Snowshoe Tree Farm on Orting Hwy and it is the best place for Christmas trees!!  The morning was perfect for tree cutting.  Snowshoe has a huge selection and they have a place where your kid can write a letter to Santa (which Gabriella did) and a mailbox to sent it to him.  They also have a kiddie tree area where there are the smallest, cutest christmas trees for kids!!  We decided to start giving Gabby and Dante there own tree to decorate every Christmas so Gabby had so much fun picking out her (and Dante's) very own tree.  She was SO excited!!  It was so much fun watching her.  She really is getting into the holiday this year.  I love it!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

Thankgiving was great on so many levels.  Gabriella walked her first Turkey Trot in the morning with daddy.  It's a 2 mile walk or a 3 mile run that The Center at Norpoint holds every Thanksgiving morning.  It was great to Bob and Gabby to have some father/daughter time.  Dante and I stayed at home and just chilled out....something we dont get to do often so it was awesome to just play with him.  After the kids napped we went over to our friends Trevor and Dija's house for dinner.  It was so yummy and Gabby loved playing with Kayla and Kloye (Dija's 5 year old twins.)  Our other friends, Jackie and Cory, were also going to join us but Jackie was induced to have her baby the night before and she had her baby boy, Conner Joesph, at noon on Thanksgiving day!!  We were all so happy for them and what a day to have a baby!!  I cant wait to meet him!!!

Unfortunately I forgot my camera over Dija's house so I have NO pics from Thanksgiving which I am sad about.  That's ok though.  I spent the day with the people I love and with great friends too.  Day was a great day.
